Good morning all! What's everyone doing today?

I'm drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my spot in the conservatory - this is definitely my weekend morning spot! Boy cat's watching bird tv through the window & girl's curled up on one of the other chairs 😊. It's quite peaceful in here.

I've already had a tidy round in the kitchen and put a couple of things to soak before I wash up in a bit. The washer's also on, so the washing will go on the line when it's done.

Today's plan is much the same as yesterday - few details on peg dolls left to finish, garden waste into bin that I didn't get to yesterday, start decorating the conservatory. I got as far as sanding yesterday, so hoping to quickly finish the dolls then wipe down the walls & paint. Revision for dd2 - probably more Spanish speaking & some maths today.

Dd2's cooking pasta bake later for tea, then tidy round kitchen again & showers all round. I'll have my Self-Care-Sunday scrubby everything shower - not had one in a while, then sit down with my book & probably be interrupted by dd1 calling to talk my ears off! Then an early night ready for work and school tomorrow 💤.

What about all of you? 🙂

Good afternoon lucysmam and to u all I’m very late today been prepping dinner and doing housework which is never ending . Only 5 for dinner today as everyone has plans today so we will put dinners out for us for tomorrow save me cooking . Goin to cut the grass later then will pop and see son no 1 as he’s been working strange shifts last few weeks but they are there later he’s got a lovely family so we will have a nice hour with them . Have a great and safe day all 🫶

Went to reformer Pilates this morning and then met dh at the spa after, had a lovely steam sauna and swin followed by a glorious lie down on the hot stone beds.
Got home, we swept the patio and now he’s jetwashing.
Just about to walk into town, dd1 and I want to go to space NK and get some top ups of things. Then we’re doing pizzas in the pizza oven tonight as the weather is so lovely.
dd2 is at uni and dc3 has just gone to the park to play cricket with some friends.
Got some washing on the go so will hang that on the airer before we go out and ask dh to move the airer into the garden after the jetwashing!

I have just been out and picked a load of rhubarb so we will be having dessert of some sort this evening. I'll make some compote for breakfasts too.

Think of it this way... it's much better to be in labour when the midwives actually have time to look after you.
