Anyone been to see James on their current tour?

I saw them last night at the O2. They were amazing. Uplifting is the word I'd use to describe the show. I wish I was going tonight!

Yes saw them in Glasgow and held his hand as he walked by, 3rd time I’ve seen them and they were amazing!! We had VIP soundcheck tix they were fab, it was for my fiancés bday…that’s his big hand in the pic 🤩

They are brilliant

Love them. First saw them in 1991 and have seen them loads since. I didn’t make this tour though as we were away for the local gig.

I saw them at Birmingham for the umpteenth time, superb live band .

Great to see all the love for James on here. Wow @Lillipops I bet your fiance had the best birthday. Tim came into our section of the audience but I didn't get to hold his hand unfortunately.

@Yourownpersonaljesus it was the best day we had such a laugh, there was a Q&A session at the soundcheck and I was going to ask Tim to sing happy birthday to him but I didn’t get chosen 😢

Yes, we went to see them in Newcastle. I got the tickets for DH’s birthday. We had a fantastic night, can’t believe Tim Booth is 66.

I went to the pre-tour warm up gig in Bournemouth (small venue) and it was brilliant, over 40 years since I first saw them. My friends and I used to follow them round London playing at student unions and other small venues, those were the days.

Not so often in recent years but yes, lots back in the late 80s.

Tim was so full of energy, it’s great to hear he still is.

I saw them at the warm up in Bristol.
It’s now about 35 years since I saw them first.
My teenage daughter now goes to see them without me if I can’t make it!

Such an uplifting experience to see them live.

Yes, saw them in Leeds, love them. A group of fantastic musicians. Seen them numerous times, especially loved the orchestral tour a couple of years ago but they're always amazing ❤️ uplifting is a perfect description.

Manchester tonight and Birmingham a couple of weeks ago. Love their gigs. So much fun and totally uplifting.

Saw them at Liverpool last week. Incredible gig. Really uplifting as you said. The band are superb and Chloe and Deborah have added so much to them since they joined.

They always give value for money and get better and better. They are definately one of the best live bands around.
