7th Birthday Party Ideas

My DD is turning 7 in a couple of months and we’re trying to decide what to do for her party. She is basically happy with anything!

Most of her friends do either a large soft play, or, more often, a trampoline park. Some hire a hall and a bouncy castle. However, one of her close friends is a wheelchair user and I don’t want to exclude him. I’ve never seen him at a school party, I assume because of the venues they’re at.
We joined the school at the start of yr 2, last September, so she didn’t know him at her last birthday.

I was thinking about a pizza express pizza making party? But are they a bit young, I don’t want them bored if most would prefer to be running around? I’m also not the best with children, so wouldn’t be great at corralling a group or getting them engaged in a game at the table while they wait for food to be cooked etc.

Does anyone have any ideas?

If you can get parents to help, what about a pool party?

Check with the parents but a child who uses a wheelchair may be able to use a pool with buoyancy aids.

For DD1 7th we did a small pool party followed by pizza lunch.

Mine has recently done a few pottery painting parties. Boys and girls have both enjoyed it.
