Need a bit of help with mum friend

I had a mum friend I meet through a mutual..

I like the mutual but the muk friend is bat shit crazy. Out children go to the same nursery. We've meet up outside numerous times etc and part of a single parent group.

I thought we were close until she told me we weren't invited to her son's birthday party and a handful of nursery friends were.

Weird woman based on alot of other things as well

But I have to see her at a party next week. How do I handle it?

She doesn't know there is an issue because she was trying to get my child's attention in the morning whilst we were crossing the road.

Be polite but distant?? You will probably be keeping an eye on the children and too busy to chat much?
