Recommendations for STEM build kits for a nearly nine-year-old

My DS8 is turning 9 in a few weeks and he’s obsessed with watching Crunch Labs on Netflix, it’s a former NASA engineer doing all kinds of ‘crazy’ experiments but all science based and explained using scientific theory. They always mention that they do Crunch Labs STEM kit sets that you can subscribe to and receive in person at home, he’s desperate for one, and I think ideal for his bday but they’re really expensive and based in US so not even sure they ship here.
Would anyone have any recommendations for a similar STEM build kit for this kind of age? My DS built a little circuit board the other week at school and loved it, so that kind of thing. There’s loads on amazon but I’d like to go on recommendations. Thanks!

I had this one when I was a kid (has since been rebranded but looks like it's more or less the same inside). I absolutely loved it and taught me a lot about circuits and basic electronics.

I also built this one with my dad when I was about 8 or 9, and again it was excellent, although sourcing the distilled water is a pain.
