Impacted wisdom tooth or infected wisdom tooth: what does each feel like?

hey! What does it feel like to have impacted wisdom tooth vs infected wisdom tooth? Thank you!

Impacted wisdom tooth can be a bit sore. If it’s infected you will know. I had a wisdom tooth that slowly rotted the tooth next to it and the infection and pain it caused was so unbearable that I paid privately to have them both pulled within the week. Antibiotics may help short term. Try and see a dentist asap.

Infected will throb from pressure and will be the worst pain ever ! You won’t be able to tolerate without painkillers. Please get antibiotics asap.

You get very bad headaches with impacted wisdom teeth. I had three removed in my early twenties, under anesthetic. The bruising was horrific, but the headaches were cured.

Infection will give you a temperature.

Never had infected wisdom teeth.

My impacted wisdom teeth didn’t have space in my mouth, therefore pressed against my other teeth, which made them feel sore.

I have what I assume is an impacted tooth (partially erupted wisdom tooth) it gives me no pain at all when it’s behaving. When that same tooth got infected it was fucking agony, radiating, constant jaw pain and up into my ear. I’d happily take contractions any day over infected wisdom tooth pain!

I have impacted wisdom teeth that don't hurt at all. I have to clean them very carefully to avoid infection though! Which are agony.
