Lost Luton Luggage - Missing Bear :(

I'm hoping someone might be able to advise or help, please! Landed last night at Luton Airport from Beziers, France, traveling Ryanair. DH's checked bag has been lost, not on the carousel. (Our other 3x checked bags were all there.)

Reported to the baggage handlers SwissPort. They filled in a form, said to wait up to 5 days. Said it might have gone to Dublin as the plane went on to there, or could have been left at Beziers.

Sadly we have a missing bear! He is 37 years old and the first thing I ever bought for my now-DH. Yes, not a child's bear but he is much-loved and cherished; this bear has traveled on every journey and adventure our whole lives together. (And yes, he will not go in the hold ever again if we are lucky enough to get him back). Can anyone advise what else I could possibly do to get the bag back safely? I appreciate any advice at all!

No help for now, other than to say "Don't Panic". Bags do often turn up and are reunited with their owners. Mine got left in Amsterdam in March but was delivered to me at home a couple of days later. For future reference, I put Apple Airtags in my luggage, so I could see that the bag had made it from Ecuador to Amsterdam but had not made onto the plane from Amsterdam to Manchester.

Thank you. Yes, planning air tags for the future is an excellent idea!

I’ve just had this travelled back from Vietnam
to Leeds Bradford via KL and Amsterdam, 3 checked bags arrived mine didn’t. Managed to speak to someone at Swissport this morning and supposedly my label had fallen off in Amsterdam and it made its way home to me this afternoon, all that was missing was some Easter eggs!
Really hope you’re reunited soon.
