Starmer and the Speaker

Did anyone else see the footage (very blurry) of Keir Starmer and the Speaker having a barney after PMQs today? Didn't see the actual PMQs. Apparently Hoyle had spoken sharply to him during it and Starmer had angry words with him on the way out. I think he seems under colossal strain (no wonder, being excoriated by DT every five minutes). I don't think he'll last in the position beyond May.

Probably best to stop regurgitating Daily Fail rubbish.

I’d like to see some evidence that isn’t an opinion piece from a columnist, whether it be Guardian or Mail.

As you say, OP, it’s just a bit of blurry footage. I can’t even lip read it.

Good grief the last thing we need is a change of pm. Do you enjoy economic uncertainty?

Storm in a teacup OP. I think slightly more important things are going on right now. Out of interest, which Labour mp would you like to see replace him?

God almighty, there aren't any that aren't immeasurably worse.
And I can't see that many would want the job. Trying to keep the peace with the US without being dragged into a Middle Eastern conflict, an energy crisis and COL crisis and the economy stagnating - the May elections will be interesting anyway.

I watched PMQ's and did think to myself he wasn't answering Kemi's question at all. To be fair none of them do but today was particularly bad.

No I don't think a pm change would be a good idea as like someone said , who in labour would do a better job and it brings so much disturbance with it.

I do actually quite like Kemi , I think she speaks a lot of sense, it's just a shame she's associated with the conservatives. I also like Michael Portillo and often think he would have made a good PM when watching his travel shoes, also a shame he conservative

He’s going nowhere in May
