What would you bring with you to this event?

Birthday party in a pub (area booked out, middle aged adults) birthday lady is a friend of a friend whom I’ve socialised with and had a laugh with in nights out but not explicitly a friend of mine. Would you just bring a nice bottle of wine as a gift?

Small plant/bunch of flowers/box of chocolates/,bottle of something and a card

How many people attending?

Will there be somewhere to leave the presents?
And remember she will have to carry them all home.

I don't think I'd bring a bottle of wine to the pub-bit coals to Newcastle.

I think I'd bring a nice bunch of flowers with card attached so she remembers who they are from!!
