I think because the links don't work - one leads to a non existent X page (or maybe you need an account?) and one to a kind of PowerPoint presentation which seems to be a snippet of the news story perhaps.

I'm not sure many women want to do an internet search on the thread name - and perhaps people who didn't automatically assume it was a news story haven't clicked on the thread for that reason.

Boys and men are influenced so much by those around them. It doesn’t matter how they’re raised, by secondary school their peers have much more influence than parents.
I always cringe at the MN mothers who say their boys would never, when the truth is they don’t know. Men behave very differently in groups than in the presence of the women in their lives. For most men away from their families rape jokes, porn, “locker room talk” are standard.

What astounds me is the number of women still with their head in the sand at how dysfunctional and inhumane so many men are. If women defended women like men defend men we wouldn’t have half the issues we have.

It’s the thread that’s not getting traction though, not the links within it? I rarely click on links in threads, some threads don’t have any, but can still have loads of responses.
