Poor Poor Ava

On holiday lying on the sunbed.
A new family have arrived.
In the last hour it's been

Ava stop splashing
Ava don't run
Ava stop screaming (shouting themselves)
Ava no you can't have an ice cream.
Ava don't do that

This poor child looks about 3ish.
Mum and dad are sitting by the bar and apart from telling her off haven't been near.
She wants to go in the pool.

Poor you too.

Poor Ava indeed. Last time we were away, the poor unfortunate child shared a name with one of mine and I caused chaos responding to every ‘mummy can I have?’ With a yes I hope the kid had the time of their life!

Our ex next door neighbours, one a teacher and one a social worker, complained bitterly after their first 'family' holiday that the baby had absolutely ruined it. for them.🙄

Fortunately we don't sit on the sunbeds every day.
