Has anyone been to Montreal/live in Montreal?? I really need some help on places to eat, in between the airport and the Grand Prix track please 🙏

We are going to Montreal to watch the Grand Prix and are staying near the airport. We are myself, DH, DS14 ans DS11. Our youngest DS struggles with food, and only likes vwry plain food, think a plain burger, or chicken tenders, that kind of thing. He also doesn't like really loud places and I think after a day at the Grand Prix (with his headphones on) he would like somewhere with quite a chilled vibe. On the friday it will be his 11th birthday so somewhere nice but not vastly expensive. It will need to be somewhere en route from the Grand Prix circuit to the airport so the least amount of travelling please.
Also any other advice about public transport etc would be gratefully received.

I was there last year. Fantastic city and there’s a regular easy bus into the city. We had some amazing food - not hard to find. Plain burgers will be easy. Sorry I don’t know the city well enough to make recommendations. Our first meal was at Schwartz’s deli. Delish but prob not what you’re after.

Do go up Mont Royal for the view and the peace. Also waterfront area was great.
