Calling all Manchester people! Help needed for a nice hotel for meeting and lunch please.

Hello.
I am looking to have an informal meeting with my team in Manchester city centre.
Ideally need a hotel where we can have a coffee in the bar for an hour or so for the meeting and then a lunch afterwards. Close to Piccadilly train station as we will be traveling from all over.

I've used the Malmaison previously but it's a bit tired, so looking for something a bit nicer !

Not a hotel but the refuge is lovely!

Another recommendation for The Refuge, there’s also Home too (also not a hotel) but it has a bar area and a separate restaurant.

The Maldron Hotel may fit the bill too.

I thought the Refuge has a hotel attached to it?

The Double Tree next door to the. Malmaison?

Just checked and the Kimpton clock tower is the hotel next to The Refuge.

The bar area at the Kimpton Clocktower is lovely. Really open and spacious.

Treehouse Hotel is really lovely, across town, but nowhere in Manchester is very far

I wish I was organising a non-work night out-out as some of the suggestions looked great places to eat and drink, really lovely vibe to them.
