Travelling to Europe - EES fingerprints - disability - does anyone know what will happen?

Hello. I need to go to Europe next month so will go through the EES system for the first time. My hands curl under, meaning access to my fingers is very very limited. I could get a fingerprint of my forefingers and thumbs but not the rest.

Does anyone know what will happen here? Will they let me have a photo only (like the under 12s)? Or will it likely be a total faff as everyone tries to work out what to do?

I’ve read so many pages of guidance and FAQs and found none of it really on point.

AI answers aren’t then backed up by the guidance.

Thank you.

Brilliant @TheAutumnCrow - thank you so much. I’ll print off that Article 17 so I have a copy with me.

I’d never have found that.
