Made a mistake with a handbag

I got £200 worth of JL vouchers on leaving a job recently. I really needed a new handbag and so I went to my local big JL (central London) to buy one. I looked round (the too posh!) selection - really wanted a x/body type bag that could fitnpurse, phone, brolly, water bottle etc. in the end I bought a Radley one in the sale but I really wish I hadn’t as it’s so heavy - have used it twice recently and my shoulder was aching afterwards. I think I was persuaded in to getting it as I was a bit ‘desperate’ to buy something by then!
I will prob just have to use it ‘sparingly’ - it’s too ‘posh’ for every day wear and that’s what I needed it for.
Any suggestions as if sold if I’d want to near what I paid for it (also used some vouchers from my credit card reward scheme). All the ones I saw for sale on eBay etc were not on for much.

Can it not be exchanged?

I bought it pre-Xmas so too late. I tried to love it but 🤷‍♀️ it looks nice but not practical.

If not going for much on eBay, then i think you need to expect similar

Were the ones you saw on Ebay on as auctions? Maybe they get more than the price you saw? I don't use Ebay but think tht is how it works 😁?

Since you've only used it a couple of times you may get a bit more than a well used one.

I had no idea radley did bags that 3xpensive. Such a shame you cant use it. Try posh mark or vestiere maybe if it's that expensive but in would expect less that half back

If you take a look at the sold listings on eBay that will give you a good idea of what your bag will fetch.

Unfortunately once you’ve used the bag you’ll probably not get anything like what you paid for it.

Can you not just use it as your everyday bag?
If it feels too heavy it could be that the strap is sitting awkardly on your shoulder, but you could get a new, wided strap, to clip on.

I have a Radley leather shoulder bag that came with an optional cross body strap which was too narrow. I replaced it with a strap from another bag I had and it's perfect now.
