Just saw this article about Ludwig Koch, a German naturalist who made the first known sound recordings of birdsong and settled in Britain after fleeing Germany in World War II:

I reckon his life should be made into a film and Adrien Brody should play him. I’m semi-serious about Brody playing him, but I think he looks quite similar to Brody in the second photo in the article I linked above and it could be filmed as an epic WW2 drama/saga, which we know Brody would be amazing in.
And yes, of course the film should be called The Naturalist or The Recordist 😄😄

I’d genuinely love to pitch this film seriously, but I have no experience at all in the film world and no idea who to pitch it to. Should I pitch it to directors (via their agents) - e.g. someone like Brady Corbet, who’s obviously previously worked with Adrien Brody?
