Can I make a cake using Brandy Butter?

I found a pot of brandy butter in the freezer, which got overlooked at Christmas. Whilst it's outside it's "Best Before" date, it's been frozen and the little bit I scraped off tasted absolutely fine.
Rather than waste it, can I use it to make a cake? It's already very sweet so guessing I don't need as much sugar as usual.
Would anyone have any recipes?

I've done it. I think the stuff is about 50% sugar so alter your measures accordingly. Rum and ginger sponge pudding is good.

That sounds wonderful @Summerhillsquare
I love ginger. And I'm not averse to rum either!

I can imagine that it'd be really good in a light fruitcake type affair

I'd probably reduce the sugar by about half in the recipe, if using BB

I think I'll go for the reducing sugar by half then, based on this feedback. May go for ginger & cardamom and a bit of black treacle for depth. Will see how it turns out!
