Best value ground coffee

I usually just buy my coffee in the supermarket but it is getting so expensive these days that I wondered whether there might be subscription options that offer better value for money?

I'm looking for good quality ground coffee. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Alternatively, has anyone found any really nice supermarket ground coffee for a really good price?

I always buy Sainsbury's own brand Italian blend ground coffee. It's the right strength for me . I have a pot of it with breakfast every day although I don't drink coffee at all during the rest of the day.
The price of it has gone up tremendously in the past year or so but it's definitely cheaper than branded ones.
I 'll be very interested in your thread though to see what other people recommend

Sainsbury’s is good. I don’t drink coffee but have it for when DB and his wife come round who are coffee fiends. And other guests who like coffee.

Thanks both. I like the Sainsburys coffee too, and quite often buy that at the moment.

Lidl french blend is good.

I love the Aldi no 5 ground coffee. I’ve tried loads from really expensive to cheaper and this is my fav. When people come over they ask where it’s from.

Nescafé roastery (I think that’s what it’s called!) in the little brown tins is really good. It’s usually £6.50 ish but if you keep an eye out in the various supermarkets it’s often half price- and then I stock up and buy several at a time!

I buy the Lidl one in the orange packet. I think it's Kenyan. I haven't found a more expensive one to match it.

I like Tesco Italian ground coffee, the Lidl espresso & the one in the gold packet.

I was recently gifted some quite fancy bespoke locally roasted yada yada yada coffee and it was delicious.

But on a day to day basis I don’t really notice the difference.

Lidl deluxe Colombian Risaralda. I took a chance on it in an ‘emergency’ and it’s become a firm favourite.

Hmm, lots of recommendations for Lidl... might have to check these out!!

Agree with this, it’s the only one I drink

I haven't found any subscriptions that can better Sainsbury's fancy one. But then I am picky and require fair trade and decaf. You can get good stuff online if you're prepared to buy beans and grind your own.
