My much loved breadmaker has gone to appliance heaven. Recommend me yours?

I had a lovely breadmaker, bought many years ago from Lakeland. Gone to make a loaf today, and the paddle won't turn. Can't work out how to fix it, and it is way way way out of warranty. So I'm on the hunt for a new one.

I'd ideally like one where the paddle retracts, so you don't get the hole in the bottom of the loaf, but I can't seem to find one online.

Can you recommend me a new breadmaker? Don't need anything more than a bread making function and don't need hundreds of programmes.

Panasonic. Nothing else comes close.

Seconded!! Panasonic breadmakers are fab

I have a Panasonic and it is excellent but I’m trying to avoid non-stick coating because I worry about its health effects so when I replace it which will be soon I think as it’s old, I’m getting one with a ceramic pan.
