What was your first memorable lesson in self-care?

My DM and I would do stretches and other exercises in the living room with face masks on from about the age of 12.

I remember I was on a sleepover camp and in the communal washroom one of the girls doing her face with soap toner etc. we must have been between 12-14? She said you needed to thoroughly wash your face and take care of your skin to prevent spots. I’m sure my mother told me this too but coming from a girl a year or two older than me made it really sink in.

Jackie magazine, lol. Cleansr, tone, moisturise! I was obsessed from an early age, and skincare has been high on my list ever since.

Oil of ulay for chritmas around 11.
Doing Green Lizzy exercises on TV AM at around 10.
