Second hand black tie?

Any suggestions for an actual shop DH could go to (SE England, London included) to buy a full black tie outfit fairly urgently?

If you're asking about second-hand black tie then that suggests that price is a consideration. If so I'd recommend hiring it from Moss Bros.

Wouldn’t hiring one be more achievable at short notice? Finding a second hand one that’s his size and suitable might be harder to achieve.

second hand from a charity shop is possible, we often get them in. Otherwise if you have a Slaters menswear shop they both sell reasonably and hire, otherwise M&S sell off the peg

There’s a shop in Oxford on the roundabout near Magdalen called The Ballroom.

Already had to do this and now have another event (likely to have more after 43 years of never going to one) so it’s better to buy now
