Cleaning thread recommendations or simple routine for a comfortable home

Could some one point me in the direction of an on going cleaning thread please .
Or give me any tips for a clean and comfortable home
I usually do one room a day ,but I've been rushing through it and not doing windows, microwave, skirting,so I need a more detailed plan .
I did try fly lady ,but got ABIT overwhelmed with it
And then did nothing the whole of march because of stress and now it's dog hair city .

TOM does a room a day but once a week you do a 30 mins deep clean a different room.
