If you had an opportunity to go to the Moon, would you?

I would, without doubt.
Fascinating.
I’m not sure about going to the ISS for months and months, but a week around the Moon, totally. Even better if I could do a space walk.

Not a chance.

LezUlez · 08/04/2026 20:30

In one way I would, but I can't even go on a roller coaster so I think I'd disgrace myself in a rocket. "LET ME OUT "

ShakyBake · 08/04/2026 20:35

I just don't find it appealing. If it was some exotic beach type resort the like we've never seen before with new plants and animals then yes, I would have some jealousy to those that go

But it's hard to imagine a more unpleasant place, you can't even breath up there without a mask and the journey is long and horrible. Someone told me you need to shit in your spacesuit too. And it's so cramped in those rockets

Hatty65 · 08/04/2026 20:37

This is my worst nightmare. Being shut in a rocket out in space?

No thanks, Major Tom

audhdandme · 08/04/2026 20:38

Absolutely not

BigAssSnake · 08/04/2026 20:38

No

KnickerlessParsons · 08/04/2026 20:40

No. There’s nothing there.

bunnyvsmonkey · 08/04/2026 20:43

It's the toilet issues that would put me off. Also being stuck in a box with three borish ambitious men who you know will sacrifice you the minute it all starts to look shaky.

DirtyGertiefromno30 · 08/04/2026 20:44

Nope not on your Nelly !

PenelopeAsks · 08/04/2026 20:48

Yes. Absolutely.

LoudPlumDog · 08/04/2026 20:50

100%. The fragility of life is real. Don’t stop an adventure happening. I’m currently holidaying in the Middle East. The trip was booked before the war.

ThatJadeLion · 08/04/2026 20:53

What for? I have everything here at home!

DonewhatIcando · 08/04/2026 20:54

@IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads
Have you never watched a Sci-fi movie?
Nowt good ever happens in Space, nuff said 😉

user2848502016 · 08/04/2026 20:54

Hell no

SanMarinoOutletExperience · 08/04/2026 20:55

I wouldn't even consider it.

Spaghettea · 08/04/2026 20:56

No. I'd go mental cooped up for that long. It's too scary, I'd miss my food, I have IBS, collosal anxiety and get motion sickness easily.

The cheese though might sway me.

Apacketofbiscuitsaday · 08/04/2026 20:57

No way.

SeaDragon17 · 08/04/2026 20:58

In the blink of an eye. Going into space in whatever form would be an instant yes. The chance to gaze back at earth is an undeniable lure.

Daisypod · 08/04/2026 20:59

Nope there’s no way I would, too cramped and I had fast fairground rides so I’d be no good with the g forces that have to be endured. But I love learning about space and it fascinates me.
Now if they actually did manage to make a Jurassic park that’s another matter, no amount of disaster films could put me off going!

🤣🤣🤣

yeah I don't think it's for you!

it's not for me either! I'd be crying like a baby to jet me thd fuck OFF the minute they started the engines.

but I wouldn't get that far through the process! 🤣

PurpleReindeer2 · 08/04/2026 21:02

Yes, absolutely. To see the Earth from a huge distance, as a marble in space, must be amazing and very emotional.

dudsville · 08/04/2026 21:03

I wouldn't. Toiletting and showering, sleeping privately and comfortably, are all important to me. I also don't like the idea of something going wrong out there. That said, I'm really glad that people do want to do this, and I'm looking forward to hearing about any new advancements in stuff we use day to day that trickles down to us.

Letsnotargue · 08/04/2026 21:03

I’d go in a second. I’ve wanted to since I was a kid. Newsround and Space Camp have a lot to answer for.

Shallotsaresmallonions · 08/04/2026 21:03

No. It looks very boring.

There's a million other things on earth that I'd rather see.
