Wart between toes - hurts! How can I ease it?

I’m training for an ultra-marathon in June, and discovered why my little toe seemed so painful. I was worried it was ingrown on something, even though it looked perfectly normal. Turns out, its not the little toe, it’s right at the bottom of the next toe, a verruca / wart thing. Yuck! A tricky place to both see and get to too.

As of yesterday, I am on the Bazuka and hoping for the best, but any tips on how to stop it hurting the meantime? I’ve never had anything like this before!

Is it a wart or a corn?
Corns can appear where there is pressure between the toes

Pretty sure it’s a wart.

a podiatrist would be able to help, especially if you don't want to risk further injury during training.

also add a plaster between affected toes during run to avoid additional chafing.
