Doctors appointment link on MS Teams help

So I have a remote app with an and I will be sent a link which will open in MS teams. I already have the app on my phone for my workplace teams so I am worried will my appointment ring up my colleagues or will it be private.

It would only ring your colleagues if they have also been sent a link to your meeting and then click to join the meeting. The link is sent by email so your GP will only send it to you.

Check the email / message. I had an appointment recently and was specifically told to log out of teams and to join the meeting as a guest.
