Nick Pope has died

Those who are interested in the paranormal/ufology may be aware of Nick Pope. He investigated the UFO phenomena whilst working for the Ministry of Defence and has written a number of books about the subject (which he took seriously) and has also appeared in documentaries.

He announced earlier this year that he was suffering from Stage 4 cancer.

Oh, that is sad. I went through a phase of watching ‘Ancient Aliens’ (which is tv gold) and he was always popping up to give his, obviously well-considered, views. Thanks for the thread, @SorcererGaheris , I would never have known.

That's a shame, he did so many programmes on UFO's. I didn't realise he'd written books too.

He was a very approachable man, always replied to me by email within a day & gave good advice of who to contact now that he had pulled back from the mainstream UFO scene.
