Just seeing if normal guess stomach still settling down as acid is reduced I'm burping lots and constipated

Ask a doctor what it does, but I think it stiffens up the alimentary canal, so keeping the oesophagus less likely to get flooded up with acid from the stomach, but also making the botty end more rigid and causing the constipation. Don't push. You might help yourself to get piles. It will probably settle down. Wait for other posters' replies, too,

Have you read the blurb from the leaflet in the packet? It might suggest that it takes a little while for it to settle down, says the person who usually doesn't bother to read those sorts of instructions herself. Can you prop up a bit on an extra pillow? Are you aware of 'Mumsnet Health'?
