Does anyone ever get super sensitive to the cold ? lead a pretty active life on the whole but for three consecutive days haven't wanted to leave the house. can't work out if sickening with something or ultra laziness...okay I'm old with aches and pains but never normally feel this way for so long.
Maybe the Winter has dragged on too long!!

Sometimes I get confused by this, like I feel colder than usual and I wonder if I'm ill

However, I absolutely hate the cold generally. So if you're normally okay with it and you suddenly aren't, perhaps you are coming down with a bug.

I actually think the temperature is lower than forecast the last few days, but I am obsessed about this kind of thing and had been hoping for more warmth.

Low Vitamin D (which most of the U.K. suffer from in the winter months)
Low Iron
Thyroid issues can all make you feel this way.

Or, it could just be the fact it feels like we’ve plunged back into winter after we had a few lovely days that seemed to brighten everything up. If it continues though, do get check out. I’m off for a few days and I’m planning on hibernating. I don’t want to go anywhere or do anything, but I’m just knackered tbh.

@wavingfuriously oh good not just me then

I could've worn my big coat yesterday. I had to go and meet somebody for lunch and there is an option to get the bus, but I thought it would be good to have the 40 minute walk there - based on the temperature it was meant to be! NGL, I got the bus home! I am tired of wearing the big duvet coat though.

I suppose you might be low vitamin D, but after a while it gets hard to shake off the cold. Today has been better in the south-east, I hope it improves for you

Your body might also be telling you you need a rest!

Assuming your house temperature has remained stable, when was the last time you had bloods done to check for anaemia, thyroid, Vit D etc which can all affect your perception of the cold?

I think low ferritin levels due to heavy periods did this to me. I take a daily iron tablet now and that seems to have sorted it.
