Anyone tried a duvet with different tog ratings on each side?

I'm considering getting a duvet with different togs on each side. We got lovely new duvet covers, but they are slippery, so the extra blankets I use are slipping off. Our duvet is old and knackered, so we're due a new one anyway.

Has anyone got a duvet with different togs on each side and is there anything I haven't thought of? We're happy with the new sheets, so not considering replacing them.

Go the Scandinavian route ie single duvets for both of you then you can have whatever tog you want.

I start off under the double with DH but have a single quilt at side of bed as get so hot. After a few hours i end up getting out the double and put single over me. Also like now i come downstairs for a bit with the single on the sofa as wide awake. Madness though as now freezing so got a hot water bottle. I may look at a mixed double too.

I would, but we've just replaced all of our sheets and really liked the super king duvet covers we've bought.
