Do you check under the sheets on holiday?
I don’t and wouldn’t strip the beds at the end, even if asked. I would always worry about finding something nasty on the mattress. Out of sight out of mind for me.
I do leave accommodation clean and tidy. Rubbish in bins in hotels, or outside in lodges etc., if requested. Towels happily in the bath. It’s not about being lazy, just scared of what I might find.
I have read about people checking the mattresses on check in, but it’s too much of a risk for me.
