I look at what youngsters get up to today
and still wonder how much of Treworgey is false memories

was anybody else there ?

I was there, I still have a flyer from it 😄. What of it do you feel is false memories? From what I remember it was utter anarchy, horrific toilets, crazy shit happening and a near miss for a total disaster of a festival. I nearly got trampled by a stoned guy on a horse!!

Were the explosives in the woods real ?

Did I really headbut police horses ?

Were Hawkwind that bad ?

Was it actually life changingly wonderful ?

Lol. I don't remember the explosives in the woods and no idea if you headbutted police horses...maybe you indulged in some things that added to your unusual memories 😉. Hawkwind did play, I saw them, but I can't remember if they were good or bad. It didn't change my life but did give me gastroenteritis. It was by far the most anarchic festival I've been to and I went to a fair few. Festivals back then were a completely different entity to festivals now.

Oh blimey, what a shambles it was. IIRC all the security people fell out on the first day and so there was no security.

I missed the worst as I lived within walking distance so wasn't on site 24/7. I think I camped the first night with a friend and then we de-camped.

I know I enjoyed Nick Turner's set on the last day (lots of people had already left by then which probably helped!), his laser show was fab.
