I’ve sold a picture on Vinted but it’s arrived with broken glass. The buyer has raised an issue, quite rightly. Can I get the picture back? From what I have read, Vinted will refund the buyer and they keep the item after they investigate. It was a £20 picture so I could resell if I got to back. Should I engage with the buyer or leave Vinted to resolve the situation?

Engage with the buyer, get them to send it back to you (at your expense).

If you sell it again make sure it is very well wrapped and marked fragile.

Thank you, how do I get them to send it back?? Do they have to agree?

You pay for a postage label and they get the refund when you’ve received it.

The last time I had something come back, you could say yes to a refund and the buyer has to return the item at their own cost

Thanks, the buyer agreed to partial refund but once I clicked the button to say we had resolved the issues, there’s no option to offer a partial refund or return item. I therefore have lost the item and the buyer gets a full refund. Vinted support no help
