Treclin gel for acne

My DS has just been prescribed this for acne - has anyone else had this for their teenager? Did it work well?

I'm not a teenager, but I was prescribed this as an adult and it was honestly a miracle for me. I'd suffered with monthly breakouts for my whole adult life and this cleared it within weeks.

I myself started when I was a teen. But use with moisturiser. I will also drop my current routine if it helps.
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Cicaplast
Evening:
LRP moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel
