Easter Saturday Buffet

Can I have some Easter buffet ideas please to feed extended family? Happy to make salads and a main meat etc

I was hoping to do a bbq but weather might not permit so thinking of a spread to put out instead. Ideas welcome, thanks.

Have you thought about doing a hot meal ?

Something like jacket potatoes and a big vat of chilli is a lot less faff to make for a gathering than a full on cold buffet. Can make it vegetarian, or mild or whatever to suit. Easy to warm through some baked beans and grate some cheese for anyone who can't cope with a mild chilli.

Cold meats, salads, new potatoes and quiche?? Can be vegetarian if required

Lamb shawarma with middle eastern type sides.

Slow cook a shoulder (or 2) of pork and serve with a large 5 bean chilli, salads, baked potatoes, grated cheese and sour cream. Easy to scale up depending on numbers, it’s gluten free and most is vegetarian, if you have little ones is pretty kid friendly too, just add baked beans if they are super fussy
