Anyone else dealing with overwhelm, anxiety & lack of support just now?

Got a lot going on and no one around to help lighten the load. Think I just need some social company in real life to help tip the balance but not possible so here I am posting instead. Anyone else similar?

Yes. Everyone seems to be in their line, doing their thing, but I’m also mega selectively social. I could hang out with people - I’m widowed with two kids, and the wid network is substantial but there are so many people that either annoy me, or their kids do, or I find them dull, or they’re too unreliable, too pre-occupied, too intellectually stunted… I am a social snob (not in monetary sense) and find that my own company outweighs the company of many.
