Whenever l am scrolling Facebook/ Instagram.. it seems every other video is some random person dishing up their meal. I mean these videos are literally everywhere and every day it's someone new. Do you like them? I'm nosey in general and like looking round people's houses etc.. but what's with these videos? There isn't even recipes in case you want to make the same thing.

It must be because you're clicking on them. I'd never heard of such a thing until just now...

I don’t, but I see them a lot. People must be watching them though as they keep posting them.

I personally couldn’t care less about someone’s food shop or dinner so I avoid them.

On Facebook/Instagram you can click “not interested” and the algorithm will stop giving you similar videos.

Probably because you are looking at them - the algorithm picks it up.

And if you like to look at people’s houses why would you that probably adds to the algorithm

I've only seen one person posting this context - a woman who plates up her and the kid's food in the normal way and then serves her DHs colossal portion in a suitcase or something equally daft.

Food videos have started to piss me off, they are all over the place! The dishing up ones but also “what I eat in a day” and “here’s what I bought for à family if 4 for £50 from M&S” type ones. I think ppl get sponsored & they make more of them nowadays. Also the Too Good To Go bags. I’m sick of listening to people eat. Trying to click on completely different things to reset the algorithm but they keep appearing.
