Weight loss has slowed to much.

I have lost 4 stone since mid November. Now it's slowed right down this week it wasn't even a pound. I know loss slows but half a pound feels hopeless.

4 stone since November is mad! I've lost four stone too but it's taken nearly a year...some weeks I don't lose anything. It's totally normal.

So if you don't loose some weeks, would you loose a littke extra the following week ? Or does it carry on around 2 pounds weather you lost the week before or not?

It's very much up and down but I'm generally losing a pound every three weeks now

That's normal.
You can't expect to lose as much as you did at the beginning.

It's taken me 27 months to lose 9st 11lb.

I'm currently losing 2 - 3lb a month. That is to be expected at this stage.

OP you're being unrealistic.

Unless you have 8/10st to lose your weightloss will slow as you have less bodyweight overall now to shift.

As you get closer to goal weight the loss slows for everyone.

What method are you using and how much did you want to lose?

That’s mad weight loss, and probably unsustainable. Maybe your body is just taking a break. I’ve lost 40 lbs since July and I’m stalled now. I figure it will pick up again soon. Warmer weather = more walking and weight loss 😁

Weight loss will always slow down, the amount of calories you need each day will reduce as you lose weight and it becomes harder to create the same calorie deficit that you had at the start. You can either lower your calories further, but that’s sometimes hard to do and to stick to. Or you can increase your activity, or a bit of both - lower your calories a little and increase your activity. Or accept a slower rate of loss.

op are you in weight loss injections and not doing it right, that’s really fast weight loss.

I lost 9 st over 11 months and the same 4 stone over 5 months at the start. Are you going up the doses every 4 weeks as per the standard protocol. ? I’ve maintained for nearly a year on 5mg but had to go all the way up to the top to reach goal and then titrated down again.
If you still have weight to lose but no loss - then go up a dose.

You need to exercise too.
