Ganglion Cyst and turmeric!

Hi all. I recently started drinking turmeric in warm milk with nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper to help with inflammation. My ganglion cyst which I’ve had on my foot has almost completely disappeared. It may well be coincidence, but after at least 8 years, I thought the cyst was a permanent feature. Thought I would share in case this helps anyone else.

More details if you’re interested…
It was about 2cm wide and probably stuck out about 1.5cm. It wasn’t sore, didn’t really bother me, but looked weird! I’d tried whacking it with a hardback book before, I don’t recommend this. I had had a cyst there once before, about 15 years ago, which did disappear on its own. So maybe the tumeric is a coincidence?! I’ve been drinking it probably about 3-4 times per week for about a month.

If you try this, please let me know how you get on.

I had one that just disappeared, but I do eat curry, and use a bit of turmeric in cooking generally. Don't really think there's a connection.

I had a ganglion removed from my wrist last year, we eat a lot of turmeric in our food so for me, it didn’t have an effect. Great that yours has gone though, OP!

Interesting. I've just had one drained because it was causing a lot of pain, it's much better, no pain now, but there's still a lump.

I'm a big fan of turmeric. I'd had hip burstitis for months and it was gone within a week of starting high strength turmeric capsules.
