Cherry Menlove, anyone?

I joined Mumsnet in 2007 and am currently feeling nostalgia for the site at that time.

There was lots of gentle humour (wolef fleece, Terry Wigan's trousers, naice shopping lists, COD and the mouldies).

There was also a lot of great support for those who were struggling (Riven, for example).

I was wondering if anyone else remembered the threads about Cherry Menlove? I saw a reel of hers on Facebook today and it really brought back memories. I hadn't thought about her in years. Does anyone remember the bizarre house pictures and story about her having a blazing row in Starbucks? All remembers having a giggle about her 'tasteful' postings?

Yes he was, then he got better, then they split up. I used to enjoy her posts, actually, but the MN threads were also hilarious 🤣

I didn’t see those original posts but she has a presence in my local town ! I was mesmerised by her Instagram.

I never found out what happened to the woman who was sleeping in her car with a dog because she couldn’t find anywhere to rent that accepted pets and she refused to give up her dog.

Didn't she steal a load of koi carp??!

And the thread about the american (i think) blogger who created a ridiculous montessori nursery for her unborn child.

Yes I do remember her and she now has a shop and cafe in Petworth, West Sussex, plus a YouTube account and some sort of thing where you need to subscribe to see content.
I imagine she has something of value but fail to see what - especially the paid website or whatever it is.

I remember the Montessori nursery thread! That kid is probably about 20 now!

I loved the Montessori nursery. I bet it's in classics.

So is Cherry Menlove divorced? Her brand identity must have shifted from 1950s housewife then
