Despite flashing past news reports about Huw Edwards, the BBC news reader has announced that BBC bosses haven’t announced the reason for his ‘departure’.

He’s a Radio DJ.

He is now main headline news.

Help me understand.

Trump, war, death, cruelty etc are too many, too big and too scary for most of us to grasp or cope with.
One human being is easier to understand.

It's a big story IMO - we're only now being told Scott Mills was arrested in 2016 over allegations involving a teenage boy.

How did he get the job as the presenter of the Radio 2 Breakfast Show?!

He’s one of the highest-paid, highest-profile employees of one of the biggest, oldest and most respected broadcasters on the planet. His breakfast radio show attracts more listeners in the UK, by far than any other in that timeslot. He was taken off the air suddenly, and without warning. He has now been sacked, with immediate effect. The reason for his sacking has been vague, leading to endless speculation.
