Ive been wanting to go to both and managed to get tickets.
But is it daft going to both on the same morning?
I wanted to go to horizon 22 first just for the views then to sky garden to have lunch.

I wouldn't bother as it's basically the same thing - lots of more fun things to do in that area!

Tate Modern just over the bridge, maybe half hour walk.

St. Paul's?

The roman temple is v. close and worth a visit also. (London Mithraeum)

Don't know about the Jack the Ripper - is that in Aldgate? If you go then stop and have a cake or turkish breakfast across the road in Mehmet Efendi - amazing food.

id just go to Horizon 22. No need to do both . H22 is higher so better views. I’m not a fan of the restaurants at Sky Garden. If you did 22 the food market around the corner is fab.

Don't eat at sky garden, it's crap and overpriced. If you must go to both just go in for the view, but I would just do H22.

I wouldn’t recommend eating at Sky Garden, we were disappointed in both the food and the service. You can still go up to the top without eating though, but need to book in advance, I’m sure it is free. I wouldn’t waste money on going up both, especially if it isn’t a clear day.

If you’re looking to do things on a budget, it’s amazing how much you can see walking along the embankment, Westminster, or visiting Covent Garden and Soho.

The Natural History Museum and the British Museum are also free, but you may need to book tickets in advance for entry.

Thanks all

I thought sky garden might be nice for lunch but going by here and the reviews it doesn't seem great

We were going to go to London mithraeum too. Maybe I'll cancel the sky garden tickets.
Can you tell me more about the food market near H22 please?
