Im curious if anybody has changed their plans or habits with the rise in fuel costs
We are due to go away in our campervan over the holidays and haven’t really thought much about fuel until I read an article on bbc news seeing that other countries are starting to restrict the amount that can be purchased
Would be interested your plans

I'm planning on filling up prior to setting off and topping up as and when.

Absolutely! I work 90 miles away (each way) which is my own choice so I have to pay for my own car and fuel 😒 I have reduced my days in the office as can’t afford the constant travel tbh, I am quite senior so my boss and colleagues do not mind as I work for a flexible company that values agile working

I am doing a lot more walking but that also coincides with the warmer weather and a general push to lose a bit of weight, so isn't entirely about the fuel.

I usually run full to empty but a tank lasts me 3-4 weeks as I don’t use my car much, but it’s essential when I do. I have decided to keep it at full in case of any issues so refilled today although I still had half a tank.

I've never let my tank go below half full since Covid. DP does and it drives me wild - I know who'll be expected to drive if he can't get fuel easily!

Very low user here. 40L tank typically lasts me two months. My work is 5 miles away and I commute 2-3 times per week. I’ve switched to the train because why not move a journey to another method when fuel supply chains are breaking down? Fortunately I have that option.
