Chinese online Wedding Dress

Has anyone bought a wedding dress from any of the Chinese sites advertised on Etsy/Pinterest.
l know, I know, but my budget isn’t massive and I want something quite boho and unusual and the only place I am seeing anything remotely similar is on these sites.
I know people use them and I also know some are scams so before I fall in love with my beautiful flowered embroidered hippy wedding dress I thought I would ask for any recommendations or places to avoid.
i know the quality may not be amazing but it’s one day only and if reasonably priced I could maybe buy a second dress ( for the following evening dinner )

I’ve never had any issues with Temu. You can return things very easily with Evri or Royal Mail Drop off and the refund is usually back in an account within a day or so. I don’t know about any of the others.

I haven’t. But i remember years ago my sister in law ordered navy bridesmaid dresses and they arrived royal blue so there’s a slight risk

also I remember when I got married I paid over £1k for my dress and there was a big “made in china” tag in it, so quite frankly do whatever suits you as long as you have time to get a replacement if needed

My sister in law got married in a SHEIN wedding dress recently and you absolutely couldn’t tell. It looked incredible on her and made me feel a fool for paying a grand for mine!

Returns are free and easy to do.

Only go for the ones that you can easily return. (Out of which I only know Temu and Shein). Be prepared for a disappointment, but also for a pleasant surprise. Also, would you consider something like a Monsoon or a Karen Millen dress that look lovely and don’t cost a fortune? My wedding dress was a gem from 1940s I found in a charity shop online, it was £600, and will stay in the family hopefully for generations.

A friend bought one from china. It was an absolute disaster. Cheap fabric, ill fitting badly designed and made.

I.do think there is enough dresses in the world than promoting the cheap fast fashion industry would you consider second hand? Some amazing wrdding dress charity shops and things on vinted

Your post prompted me to look at wedding dresses haha! I would not say no to https://www.nobodyschild.com/products/bridal-isadora-maxi-dress-2614098001 or https://www.monsoon.co.uk/grace-long-sleeve-satin-shirt-wedding-dress-ivory-1000476679.html or maybe even https://ebay.us/m/KEVgRt if I were a bride again

Bought gothic prom dress from site I thought was uk, dress in stock, then all sorts of delayed reasons came through, including a satellite picture of our house, where they asked us to pinpoint our house as a local delivery driver couldn’t find us.
it was all lies.
Id bought through PayPal, so could show them months of lies and ludicrous correspondence.
Paypal, investigated and gave me a full refund.
Found another website, which promised to be a UK site, and they delivered within 2 days.
