What castle for a 4 year old?

Hi everyone,
My son has recently showed interest in Schleich and Papo mystical creatures so I want to get him a few for his 4th birthday. I’d also like to get him a castle to go with them but I don’t know which one! I’d like something that will grow with him a bit and that he won’t get bored of by the time he’s 5.

I was thinking of Playmobil but wooden ones also sound good, I also don’t know if there any other better options. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations, please?

I can’t ask my son directly as he is autistic and doesn’t speak.

Thank you so much!

I thought you were going to ask which castle to visit 😂.

I don't have model recommendations but there is a very good Usbourne Book of Castles with sound effect buttons that my daughter loved at that age.

And if you are anywhere near the south east, Bodiam is the most castle-y castle in the land in my opinion! And you can get there on a steam train!

We have had a good 4 years of use out of our playmobil castle and still going. Both kids and their friends love it. We got it on eBay. It’s really good quality so there are some great 2nd hand options. Then you can add to it with other playmobil later if he’s interested.
