Is there anything you miss about having school age children that NOBODY else does?

I miss making packed lunches.

Mine is still school age but old enough to take herself to school. I really miss the days when I used to walk her. At the time I looked forward to not having to take a detour on the way to work but now I wish we still had those 20 minutes together when we would chat and play word games.

Sewing name tags in.
And organising or making costumes.

Doing the school run!
