What is the verdict on these biscuits before I try them, I just saw them on sale at one of our supermarkets here in Sydney. They look delicious but sometimes appearances can be deceiving! What do you think?

They are the best, you’ll have zero regrets unless you let the family at them too.

Biggles27 · 30/03/2026 15:13

We always buy them when we have trades people in. We also offer digestives, rich tea and hob nobs. These always all go, the rest are 50/50 as to whether they get eaten (unless it’s an electrician and then they always all get eaten 😂)

Absolute agree

So cheaper than in the UK even at full price?!

skippy67 · 30/03/2026 15:43

Their pistachio and almond cookies are lovely.

YomAsalYomBasal · 30/03/2026 15:44

Do it! You’ll never want a Tim Tam again though.

DirtyGertiefromno30 · 30/03/2026 15:46

You will thank us ☺️

LauraNorda · 30/03/2026 15:48

Why are they £6.50 a box here? Insane that you can ship these halfway round the world and still sell them cheaper than here.

Ripoff UK again.

tartyflette · 30/03/2026 15:50

In short, M and S biscuits are, in general, superior biscuits.
(As in ‘these are not just biscuits’ etc etc. Alas, I cannot buy them, they barely make it into the cupboard.)

Well, they may be made somewhere nearer. I’m sure there is manufacturing capacity in Eg, Singapore.
Once facilities are set up it seems quite likely that they are cheaper to make in the Far East.

tartyflette · 30/03/2026 15:54

And the biscuits in question live up to the name.

ToadRage · 30/03/2026 16:05

They are lovely and very popular here in the UK.

GinToBegin · 30/03/2026 16:14

They’re really good.

TheTecknician · 30/03/2026 16:43

M&S biscuits at one time were made by Fox in Batley. Perhaps they still are.

MoistTowelette · 30/03/2026 16:55

Florentines

HolidayPlanningAgain · 30/03/2026 17:11

The double filled custard creams are incredibly dangerous!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 30/03/2026 17:12

They’re good

Tryagain26 · 30/03/2026 17:13

They are extremely nice covered in thick chocolate

gotohellforheavenssake · 30/03/2026 17:16

Do it! They are lovely

Appraisaling · 30/03/2026 17:21

We always have a box on the go. I have just eaten two of them!

Cuppachuchu · 30/03/2026 17:24

They are more chocolate than biscuit. I only get them at Christmas. Extremely Dangerous. You won't want any old biscuits ever again.

hexsnidgett · 30/03/2026 17:33

They sell Australian chocolate in my local b&m bargains. DH v impressed with the cherry ripes!

GloiredeDijon · 30/03/2026 02:17

The best M&S biscuits are their chocolate covered custard creams.
I daren’t buy them anymore.

Our local garage has a small M&S food section.
DH bought a packet of the chocolate covered custard creams when he went in to pay for his petrol.
I saw them on the counter top, thought to myself I must try them and put them into our biscuit box.
Next day I went to get one.
All gone !
DH had scoffed the lot. 😮

Davros · 30/03/2026 18:09

Those are my favourite biscuits and I’m an expert. I’ve just had one of the rounds from a separate packet, not selection

Downunderduchess · 31/03/2026 10:21

I missed out, they were all gone by the time I placed my online order, quietly devastated. I bet all the British ex-pats rushed to Coles to snatch them up! I will keep my eye out for them again. They did have Percy Pigs left but didn’t feel like them, had been looking forward to some premium chocolate.
