Tell me about going to court

I’ve never been and it’s looking like I will have to go as a victim of sexual assault
really worried they will ask me loads of questions and I’ll get everything wrong

I don’t have any direct experience of this except to say that when I did Jury Service, the court staff were extremely kind to those who had to give evidence. If you have to go to court, will you have a police officer assigned to support you? I hope that things go well for you

Have you had any contact with Victim Support/Witness Service? They will have someone who can talk you through what will happen and support you on the day at court.

I will say when you are being truthful it is easier than you imagine it will be..

*5 hours on the stand in one day with exh fighting me for MY dc...
