What’s this 70s advert featuring an older actress and soup that I’m thinking of?

In the 70s (maybe 80s) I remember an advert with an older lady with a nice voice advertising what I thought was cuppa soup. At first I thought it was Beryl Reid but now I’m sure it was Thora Hird. She was in her house talking about soup.

I’m beginning to think I’m mixing up two different things as Google is getting me nowhere. Does anyone else remember this?

Thora Hird advertised Churchill stairlifts, Bio-Tex detergent in the 1970s, and promoted Mother's Pride bread, could it be one of these?

I think I must be conflating two adverts/actresses. Maybe Thora Hird was dipping Mother’s Pride in some soup! 😂

Was Beryl/Thora/mystery woman in vision or was it a voiceover? Can you remember anything else about the advert? What was happening in, was there a jingle?

@MamaBobo I wish I could remember any details! I just remember Thora Hird’s voice, her sitting in a chair maybe? And a cup of soup 😂

What did Nanette Newman advertise? Was that soup? Or maybe fairy liquid...

ETA that I may be doing NN a disservice, she was probably relatively young when she did that (ie younger than 50 something me now).

Thora Hird also did Cream Cracker under the settee.

Irene Handl did the voice over for a Heinz soup advert in the early 80's. But the advert was quite distinctive and featured the comedy actor David Copperfield (famous at the time) as a sort of "medallion man" disco bloke. So it doesn't fit the OP's narrative.
