Stomach flare up or bug I don’t know what to do!

I was in hospital the end of Jan as I had such bad diahrea I was seriously dehydrated I had various cameras and tests and a week of iv fluids. They found nothing really no bugs nothing to point to any cancer or anything seriously concerning.

The only thing that was high was fecal caleotectin which was above 1000 I can’t remember the actual number.

so I went home after a week it literally took a few weeks more for me to be able to function normally again but by mid Feb I was ok .

last few days it’s back. Last night being the worst I’ve literally had horrifying diahrea every hour overnight and my stomach is incredibly sore.

i know last time I did try immodium which made things 100 times worse because the pain became much more intense.

today my grandmother is dying I need to be there with her I have no idea what to do.

I did thing of going to the walk in centre as I’m really afraid of getting as bad as last time! but what if this is a simple bug I know you should stay away!

Has anyone had this what on earth am I supposed to do. I’m just lying on my bed trying to formulate a plan but nothing is making sense!

Well spoke to 111 at 8 am but no call back yet I seem to have developed a fever in the meantime so I’m hoping they do get back to me !

You can't go to your grandmother's that's for sure. Could you have an IBD? They check calprotectin for those? Sounds absolutely awful you poor thing. Hope 111 call back soon and you get help.

Honestly I have no idea what’s wrong I know I’m waiting for a gastro appt but that’s really it and tbh I had felt better for a month or so so I was hoping it was just gone tbh!
