I'm in the middle of an absolutely enfuriating transaction which is being delayed by legal teams (on all sides) who have not engaged until the last minute and now are finding and dealing with complications that could have been sorted weeks/months ago.
I cannot fathom the attitude/service that all non-legal parties are getting - I work in a client facing service industry and wouldn't dream of letting a project progress like this.
Have we all just picked bad apples or is this just standard behaviour in the industry? The only other interactions I've had are domestic property conveyancing which is equally painful and slow, but at least wasn't impacting revenue for 3 x businesses.
